GARDEN GROVE, Calif. — The mass shooting in Monterey Park over the weekend that left at least 11 dead is sending a wave of shock and devastation throughout Southern California's Asian American communities. The shooting came as communities gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year in person this year. In Garden Grove, the Vietnamese community honored the lives lost at their Lunar New Year event.
